This website hosts a Blog and Podcast for Dr. Thomas W. Roberts, PhD.
Dr. Roberts has worked for the last 25 years in the field of Child and Family Development.  He was chair of the Department of Child and Family Development at San Diego State University and chair of the Department of Family and Consumer Sciences at Long Beach State University.  Dr. Roberts is a licensed Marriage and FamilyTherapist in the State of Georgia and worked for Georgia Mental Health Institute and had a private practice before starting his long career in higher education.  Dr. Roberts holds an Ed.S. degree in Counseling Psychology from Georgia State University, MDIV in Systematic Theology, from Emory University, and the Ph.D. in Child and Family Development from the University of Georgia.
IDEALS is a new non-profit organization begun September 14, 2012 and headed by Dr. Roberts for the purpose of improving the development of individuals of any religion, in all walks of life, and living in any part of the world.  We believe that better development leads to better people.  Better people build a better world.
